Hyderabad is pushing its boundaries to make a successful mark on the global map in varied fields. Four Hyderabadis are certainly helping it further by featuring on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2018 list.
The four Hyderabadis who made it to the list are Badminton player P V Sindhu, Gayam Motor Works co-founder Rahul Gayam, Stumagz founders Frederick Devarampati and Sri Charan Lakkaraju and Stanplus Tech co-founder Prabhdeep Singh.
22-year-old PV Sindhu is the first Indian woman to win an Olympic Silver Medal. Since then, she went on to clinch titles at the Korea Open and India Open. Also, Sindhu holds the world no 1 in the BWF World Ranking.
29-year-old Rahul Gayam, who is the co-founder of T-Hub Gayam Motor Works (GMW) features on the list for one of the highly successful and much-appreciated product-based startups.
The company which partners with Uber in San Francisco, Big Basket and Ekart brands itself with electric vehicles by using technologies like IoT, cloud and in-house battery pack. It also partnered with the Smart Cities Project to launch their clean energy vehicles in Andhra Pradesh and, plans to scale up to 10 more cities this year.
Stanplus Technologies started in Hyderabad has the presence in eight cities providing private medical transportation. As it tries to minimise the problem of ambulance shortage by providing its own fleet or the ones that it has aggregated. 30-year-old Prabhdeep Singh is the co-founder of Stanplus Technologies which has served more than 15,000 patient calls in the last eight months.
